Job Summary
The Lube Technician is responsible for performing basic vehicle maintenance services with efficiency accuracy and a high level of customer satisfaction. This entry-level role supports the service department by completing routine oil changes inspections and light maintenance while maintaining dealership quality standards.
JOB TITLE: Lube Technician
REPORTS TO:Service Manager
LOCATION: Cincinnati OH
A SHORT LIST OF YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Perform oil and filter changes in accordance with manufacturer and dealership standards
- Complete multi-point vehicle inspections and communicate findings to service advisors
- Check and top off vehicle fluids including transmission coolant brake and windshield washer fluids
- Inspect tires for wear and proper inflation; rotate tires as needed
- Replace air filters cabin filters wiper blades and bulbs
- Conduct battery testing and replacement when necessary
- Maintain a clean organized and safe work environment
- Follow all safety procedures and environmental regulations
- Accurately document services performed and report any additional repair needs
- Support other technicians as needed with general shop duties
WERE LOOKING FOR A SELF-STARTER WHO MEETS THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred
- Previous automotive experience or technical training is a plus but not required
- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and systems preferred
- Valid drivers license with a clean driving record
- Ability to operate both manual and automatic transmission vehicl
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable with a strong work ethic
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
