LTS School Counselor

Position requires an active and valid PA School Counselor Certification. Previous experience as a middleschool counselor preferred.

The candidate must have good communication skills and a history of or ability to create good working relationships with staff students and parents. Candidate should be familiar with and preferably have experience supporting elementary age school students and their needs. Must have the ability to meet the needs of diverse learners and knowledge of and ability to use a variety of assessment tools as well as interpret data. Must have strength in applying data to instructional practices when making decisions about interventions. Knowledge of the ASCA model and MTSS structure is essential.

If hired for employment the applicant must be able to submit the following:

1. Criminal Record Check (less than one year old)
2. PA Child Abuse History Clearance (less than one year old)
3. FBI Finger Print Clearance (less than one year old)
4. TB Test/Mantoux (less than 3 months old)
5. Physical - if applicable (less than 1 year old)
