Schedule:
Day Shift 6:00 AM 6:00 PM
36 Hours/Week Guaranteed
Holiday Coverage Required
Overtime Available After 40 Hours/Week

Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Long Term Care Registered Nurse (LTC RN) for a travel assignment in Cordova Alaska. This opportunity is ideal for nurses looking to work in a close-knit community healthcare environment while enjoying Alaskas scenic outdoor lifestyle.

Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care to long term care residents
Assess plan implement and evaluate individualized patient care plans
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately
Monitor patient conditions and report changes appropriately
Maintain accurate patient documentation and EMR records
Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare teams
Educate residents and families regarding care plans and treatments
Ensure compliance with facility policies infection control and patient safety standards

Requirements:
Active Alaska RN License required
Minimum 2 years of LTC nursing experience required
BLS Certification required
ACLS Certification required
PALS preferred
Experience with PointClick EMR preferred
