Job Description

Mater Dei High School a Catholic co-educational college preparatory high school of the Diocese of Orange has two openings for a dynamic and dedicated educator to serve in the Religious Studies Department. This is a Long Term Substitute position for various dates beginning August 1 2026- January 30 2027.

Qualified candidates will be able to:

• Support a student-centered atmosphere
• Plan and execute lessons that are data driven incorporate research-based methodologies and are designed to engage and support all learners
• Design learning experiences for students that place value on innovation inquiry and creativity
• Offer collaborative and individual learning opportunities that support student growth
• Incorporate educational technology into the classroom in an authentic manner to enhance the learning experience
• Actively collaborate with fellow teachers to design lessons analyze data and write common assessments
• Be supportive of the Mission and Philosophy of a Catholic school

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in a related field
• Either a Masters Degree in Theology/Pastoral Theology from a Catholic Institution or a Master Catechist Certification preferred
  High school teaching experience preferred
• Be a practicing Roman Catholic

Daily Rate : $200.
