About the Team

Our Dermatology team provides specialized patient-centered care for a wide range of skin conditions. We collaborate across specialties to ensure prevention diagnosis and treatment are seamless compassionate and personalized.

Mission for Position

To deliver high-quality personalized dermatology care while fostering an efficient supportive and collaborative clinic environment that promotes growth and learning.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Provide empathetic high-quality patient care within our Dermatology clinic setting
• Support dermatology providers by scribing during procedures and patient visits
• Prepare and assist during dermatologic procedures including biopsies excisions cryotherapy and MOHS surgeries
• Manage patient flow exam room preparation and supply organization
• Handle in-basket items patient calls and medication prior authorizations
• Ensure compliance with CLIA/OSHA standards and maintain surgical instruments
• Assist with specialized dermatology programs including the iPledge Accutane registry and pathology processes
• Provide thorough patient education and post-care instructions
• Collaborate closely with dermatology providers and the broader specialty care team

Position Type

This is a part-time position working day-shift Monday through Friday up to 48 hours per pay period (0.6 FTE).

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Practical Nursing or Medical Assistant program
• Must have and maintain a current Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license or Medical Assistant certification
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification

Ideal Candidate

• Prior clinic experience and familiarity with Family Medicine/specialty care
• Experience with EPIC EHR preferred
• Motivated to grow professionally in a specialty area withadded compensation for MOHS training
• Thrives in a fast-paced detail-oriented environment
• Demonstrates strong communication organization and teamwork skills
• Enjoys learning new procedures and expanding clinical expertise
• Passionate about providing high-quality patient-centered care
• Prioritizing of daily tasks and preparation of work needs
