LPN Unit Manager- Long Term Care (Temporary)
Rate: $28- $32/hour (depending on experience)
Shift: Full-Time
Schedule: Days flexibility required

Seneca Health Care Center is looking to temporarily add a LPN Unit Manager of Long-Term Care to its nursing leadership this role youll oversee the daily clinical operations of an assigned nursing unit ensuring high-quality resident care regulatory compliance and effective coordination among residents families providers and interdisciplinary team members. RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Oversee the clinical care and daily operations of an assigned nursing unit
• Supervise nursing staff nursing assistants and unit support staff while providing leadership and guidance
• Monitor resident conditions review assessments and ensure care plans are updated and implemented appropriately
• Coordinate communication with physicians nurse practitioners physician assistants residents and families
• Review laboratory results provider orders incident reports and changes in resident condition
• Participate in care plan meetings QAPI activities family meetings and interdisciplinary team discussions
• Assist with admissions discharges transfers and coordination of outside appointments
• Ensure unit supplies documentation and resident records are accurate and current
• Support staff education orientation infection prevention efforts and quality improvement initiatives
• Address resident family and staff concerns while promoting a positive care environment
• Perform additional duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates Degree preferred
• Valid NYS Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) License required
• Minimum 1 year of LPN experience in a long-term care setting required
• 3-5 years of long-term care experience with supervisory experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of resident care planning clinical documentation and long-term care regulations
• Leadership experience with the ability to supervise coach and mentor staff
• Excellent communication organizational and problem-solving skills
• Ability to coordinate care across multiple disciplines and manage competing priorities
• Commitment to providing compassionate resident-centered care
