    • Night Shift: 3x12 Hours (7:00 PM 7:00 AM)

Position Overview

We are seeking experienced LPNs with Pediatric Emergency Department experience for a fast-paced acute care environment in Syracuse New York. Candidates must be comfortable performing IV placement phlebotomy and supporting pediatric patient care within an emergency setting.

Requirements
Experience
  • Minimum 1 year of LPN experience required
  • Prior inpatient or Pediatric ED experience preferred
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records strongly preferred
Licensure & Certifications
  • Current New York State LPN license required
  • CPR certification required

Responsibilities
  • Provide nursing care under the direction of the RN or primary nurse
  • Assist physicians and nursing staff with patient care and procedures
  • Observe and report patient responses to treatments
  • Prepare exam rooms and maintain clinical areas
  • Administer injections and assist with clinical procedures
  • Perform patient intake vital signs and documentation
  • Support scheduling referrals authorizations and general office duties as needed
  • Participate in unit management and patient flow activities
