Job Summary

Job Title: LPN - Long Term Care (LTC)
Location: Eureka KS
Type: Contract 13 Weeks
Shift & Schedule: Night Shift 6:00 PM 6:00 AM 12-Hour Shifts 36/48 Rotating Schedule 3648 Hours/Week Guaranteed

Position Overview:
Navitas Healthcare LLC is seeking LPN - Long Term Care (LTC) for an exciting Travel or Local job in Eureka KS.

Responsibilities

  • Provide direct nursing care to long-term care residents during night shifts
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
  • Monitor and document vital signs patient conditions and care activities
  • Observe residents for changes in condition and report findings promptly
  • Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs) including hygiene mobility and comfort care
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in PointClickCare EMR
  • Follow infection control and safety protocols to maintain a safe environment
  • Respond to resident needs and emergencies during assigned shifts
  • Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure continuity of care
  • Support resident emotional well-being through compassionate care and communication
  • Ensure compliance with state federal and facility regulations

Requirements

  • Active Kansas LPN License required
  • Skilled Nursing Facility (SNF) or Long Term Care (LTC) experience preferred
  • Strong knowledge of nursing practices and patient care standards
  • Ability to work night shifts and rotating schedules
  • Experience with PointClickCare EMR preferred
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
  • Ability to work independently in a long-term care environment
  • Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills
