Position Description for Love INC Executive Director

Love INC Greater Arvada Arvada Colorado Board of Directors is seeking a highly qualified Executive Director. The Board wishes to have the successful candidate assume responsibilities for the position no later than October 1 2026.

This position is 30 hours per week with the goal of expanding to 40 hours per week as the ministry grows. The position will start as fully remote moving to hybrid.

LOVE INC

Love In the Name of Christ Greater Arvada is a newly developing affiliate of Love INC National a nearly 50-year-old movement serving 110 regions in 29 states. Our mission is to mobilize local churches to transform lives and communities in the name of Christ operating under the model of Redemptive Compassion. The Greater Arvada affiliate has been under construction for over three years and is now ready to move into active ministry starting with hiring a founding Executive Director and shortly thereafter securing an office space for our Connection Center.

The Founding Executive Directors Purpose

The founding Executive Director is to build lead and oversee Love INC Greater Arvada and supporters toward the achievement of the vision mission and model of Love In the Name of Christ.

The Founding Executive Directors Characteristics:

• Demonstrates a personal commitment to the Christian faith in alignment with the mission values and statement of faith of Love INC
• Demonstrates initiative adaptability and the ability to work independently in a developing ministry environment
• Exercises discernment and wisely directs efforts while working with limited resources
• Has integrity humility and a desire to nurture growth in others in the workplace

Skills and Qualifications:

• Is committed to the Christian Church and its mandate to serve people with Christs love; has a deep understanding and devotion to the Love INC mission
• Has a bachelors degree or equivalent experience in management social work ministry community development or other relevant field
• Has at least five years experience leading and managing staff volunteers and budget
• Is a team player who works well with a variety of people to build strong teams
• Demonstrates initiative adaptability and the ability to work independently in a development ministry environment
• Is an excellent communicator in verbal and written communication as well as interpersonal skills
• Has the ability to educate and influence staff volunteers and community stakeholders
• Effectively manages multiple priorities from conception to implementation and evaluation
• Has strong computer skills and is able to learn utilize and apply new technologies to the workplace

Compensation:

$56000 - $65000 annual salary at 30 hours per week Benefits: Health insurance/PTO/Paid Holidays
