Position:

• Long-Term Substitute Junior High Math Teacher

Location:

• Mathews Junior High School

Qualifications:

• Prior experience teaching junior high school mathematics or completing student teaching in a junior high environment is preferred.
• Plan prepare and deliver engaging math lessons adhering to the State of Ohio Learning Standards for math and Algebra II.
• Maintain a safe positive and productive learning environment that fosters mutual respect and academic growth for each student.
• Adapt teaching methods and instructional materials to meet the diverse needs abilities and learning styles of all students.
• Maintain open and professional communication with students parents and school administration regarding academic progress and behavioral concerns.
• Must have a valid Ohio teaching license/certification and Bachelors degree in Mathematics Secondary Education or closely related field is preferred.

Salary:

• $130 per day
