Position Summary:Southeastern Regional Technical Vocational High School seeks a passionate and dedicated Long-term Substitute to teach High School History.
Preferred Licensure:
History Grades 5-12
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree
- Valid Massachusetts teaching licensure in History
- Strong classroom management and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Commitment to fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement lesson plans that encourage learner-centered student-owned educational experiences
- Create a classroom environment of high expectations that is safe supportive and inclusive
- Use a variety of instructional strategies and technologies to support and differentiate learning
- Assess and monitor student progress; provide timely and constructive feedback
- Communicate effectively with students parents/families and colleagues
