About the Role

We are seeking a certified 712 Mathematics Instructor to support our Geometry and Pre-Algebra classes. This role is ideal for an educator who can step confidently into an established classroom setting maintain instructional continuity and keep students engaged and progressing.

You will play a key role in helping students build confidence and strong mathematical foundations while ensuring lessons remain structured clear and supportive during the regular teachers absence.

What Youll Do

• Deliver engaging daily lessons in Geometry and Pre-Algebra using provided curriculum and lesson plans
• Maintain a structured respectful and productive learning environment
• Adapt instruction to support diverse learning styles
• Assign and assess classwork homework quizzes and tests in a timely manner
• Monitor and communicate student progress
• Collaborate effectively with administration colleagues and families when appropriate
• Follow all school policies procedures and attendance protocols
• Participate in faculty meetings professional development and school activities

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Mathematics Education or a related field
• Valid Pennsylvania 712 Mathematics Teaching Certification
• Prior teaching or classroom experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of Geometry and Pre-Algebra concepts
• Effective classroom management and organizational skills
• Ability to build positive relationships with students and staff
• Experience working with high school students
• Familiarity with classroom technology and learning management systems
• Flexibility and strong problem-solving skills in a dynamic environment

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform standard classroom duties including standing walking sitting bending and reaching
• Ability to meet the physical and emotional demands of supporting students with diverse needs

Compensation & Benefits

• Starting salary: $59000 annually (based on experience and qualifications)

Position Start Date: Beginning of the school year (August 2026)
