Position Overview:
The ideal candidate will possess knowledge of the LTC policies and procedures be knowledgeable of the LTC asset transfer policy. The candidate must have the ability to review financial documents pertaining to assets or analysis and provide a written report upon completion. It will be important to be highly organized demonstrate the ability to exercise sound judgment in the identification of priorities work collaboratively with internal and external partners and proactively address issues and to ensure timely completion of all work. The candidate will exhibit strong leadership skills to achieve set goals while demonstrating independent initiative.

- Under direction serves as a Long-Term Care Resource Analyst by planning directing coordinating andmonitoring the reviews of medical eligibility determinations including Long-Term Care (LTC) applications
- Obtains documentation provided by various resources for the asset review
- Compiles and updates program documents including policy memoranda and manual releases
- Reviews documentation and identifies incorrect medical eligibility determinations including those related to LTC(unallowable transfers and unreported assets) to reduce the number of medical eligibility determinations and LTCapplications in error
- Confers with supervisor and other management staff on all levels of the review process
- Performs other duties as required or assigned which are reasonably within the scope of the duties enumeratedabove
- Requires knowledge skill and mental development equivalent to completion of four (4) years of college preferably withcourse work in business or public administration
- Requires one (1) year of responsible administrative experience in a public or business organization or completion of anagency approved professional management training program
- Requires a minimum of one (1) year of experience utilizing and interpreting Medical Eligibility policies and procedurespertinent to all medical programs including long term care
- Requires a minimum of one (1) year of experience determining medical eligibility by applying investigative techniques andconcepts
- Requires a minimum of one (1) year of experience interpreting and disseminating government programs policies andobjectives in verbal and written form
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience utilizing and interpreting Medical Eligibility policies and procedures pertinent to allmedical programs including long term care
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience determining medical eligibility by applying investigative techniques and concepts
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience interpreting and disseminating government programs policies and objectives inverbal and written form
- One (1) year of professional experience reviewing financial documents specifically bank records and documentspertaining to assets and resources
- One (1) year of professional experience with LTC policies and procedures
- One (1) year of professional experience working with the transfer of asset policy
- One (1) year of professional experience analyzing information received to compile written reviews
- Requires the ability to pass a background check and self-closure of criminal history
- Requires ability to travel in the performance of duties with overnight stays as appropriate
- Requires ability to attend seminars conferences and trainings to stay current on methods tools ideologies or otherindustry related topics relevant to the job duties
- Requires the ability to utilize and maintain state issued equipment such as a laptop
