Logistics Operations Manager

A phenomenal full-time opening has come available for an Operations Manager to join an international consumer goods company that has been in business for over 150 years in the Hawthorne CA area. The Operations will be responsible for:

• Effectively track and communicate updates between Customer Service Logistics and Accounting teams
• Assisting with Logistics by communicating upcoming sales orders with Customer Service for warehouse preparation and shipment
• Organize regular meetings with departments to discuss each others challenges and identify resolutions
• Assist with managing international sales orders and shipments as well as orders shipped from US
• Oversee international inventory control and purchasing within Oracle NetSuite platform
• Monitor all purchases and inventory into EDI and NetSuite ERP system
• Navigate complex Excel documents including Pivot Tables and VLOOKUPs

Preferred skill/ experiences include:

• Minimum of 5 years of Logistics/Operations experience in the Consumer goods industry is a MUST
• Strong understanding of Logistics/Purchasing processes i.e. booking containers scheduling importing processing and flowing goods to multiple locations globally is a MUST

• Excellent communication skills to track and communicate updates between Customer Service Logistics and Accounting teams is a MUST

• Strong knowledge of ERP systems Oracle NetSuite & MS Excel is a MUST
• Understand seasonality and successfully forecast up to 1 year out is a PLUS
• Bachelors Degree in Operations Business/Finance/Purchasing Logistics or related is a MUST
