Caterpillar is seeking a Logistics Manager inNorth Little RockAR. In this role you will serve as a strategic leader and subject matter expert driving cross-functional collaboration and innovation across the supply chain. You willbe responsible fordeveloping and executing advancedlogisticsstrategies that align with organizational goals and deliver measurable improvements in efficiency cost and service.

In this role you will:

  • Lead cross-functional collaborationwith SuppliersPurchasing Manufacturing Engineering Operations and Logistics Execution to define and implement scalable cost-effective packaging and material flow strategies.
  • Lead the design and implementationof innovativematerial handling systems and strategies with a focus on ROI scalability and sustainability.
  • Architect and continuously improveend-to-end material flow plans forpurchasedmaterials encompassing receipt validation storage picking distribution and reverselogistics.
  • Develop and governstandard work value stream maps PFMEAs and SFMEAs ensuring alignment with enterprise-widelogisticsand quality standards.
  • Oversee andoptimizelogisticsequipment and infrastructure ensuring alignment with long-term operational goals and capital planning.
  • Drive continuous improvementinitiatives to enhance material flow efficiency reduce waste and support lean manufacturing principles.
  • Ensure readiness and availabilityof critical tools and equipment to support uninterruptedlogisticsoperations.
  • Provide strategic leadershiptologisticsstaff including coaching mentoring and performance management to build a high-performing team.
  • Champion and managecomplex projects that deliver cost savings operational excellence and enhance customer satisfaction.

A successful candidate in this role willshowcasetheir skills in:

  • Logistics Management: Knowledge of processestoolsand operational considerations for effective and efficient movement of goods and materials; ability to understand predict and control the movement of goodsmaterialsand supplies.
  • Supply Chain Management: Knowledge of functions principles and techniques used in supply chain management; ability to develop and implement strategiespracticesand tools for controlling the whole processes.
  • Logistics Automation: Knowledge of systems and tools used to automate the conveyance of goods and materials; experience with the selection and implementationof such systems.

Top Candidates for this position may also have:

  • ProficiencyinSAP AutoCADPower BIand Office 365 tools.
  • Bachelors degree in engineering supply chain ora relatedtechnical discipline.
  • Cross-functional experience in IT Purchasing Assembly Fabrication Engineering or Quality.
  • Proventrack recordof leading large-scalelogisticsor supply chain transformation initiatives.
  • Progressive experience in Assembly Fabrications Paint Logistics Material Planning or Supply Chain within a high-velocity manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience including direct supervision and development of teams.
  • APICS National Certification

Summary Pay Range:

$112710.00 - $169060.00
