Logistics Engineer II

The Material Management Specialist will be a member of the Carry-on Special Technologies Engineering and Integration (STEI) Logistics team focusing primarily on all aspects of material procurement handling and management.

• Managing and maintaining inventory accuracy using customer directed supply systems conducting regular wall-to-wall inventories and performing discrepancy analysis
• Shipping receiving inventory and requesting fulfillment of electronic/electrical components
• Serving as the onsite point of contact for material requests
• Reviewing analyzing and executing purchase requisitions with our manufacturing and planning teams to acquire inventory in a cost effective and timely manner
• Creating and issuing purchase orders to suppliers and manage modifications to purchase orders
• Reviewing and performing thorough due diligence on purchase requisitions to ensure TAA compliance on all purchases

• Two years of full-time professional experience as a logistician
• Two years of full-time professional experience with government procurements
• Required specialized experience:
  • Two years of full-time professional experience in Navy Integrated Logistics Support and System Life-Cycle support areas of the DoD/Navy Integrated Logistics Support System

• Experience with Microsoft Office
• Enterprise Logistics Management System (ELMS) preferred not required
• Government Commercial Purchase Card (GCPC) Program
