Full timeDay (United States of America)2823 Franklin Rd - RoanokeR160629 LOGISTICS COURIER (Open) The Logistics Courier receiving stocking issuing distributing and shipping supplies to hospitals companies and services of Carilion Clinic. Adheres to and performs all documentation and computerization required to insure efficient and accurate operations. Provides immediate distribution and warehousing services to all affiliates and precise logistical and delivery services to assigned areas of Carilion Clinic as appropriate.

The Logistics Courier

• Inspects cartons carefully for damages completes required documentation on damages and informs Purchasing department.
• Receives inventory and special order items records quantities received compares receipts to product specifications signs receiving documents and reports discrepancies to the Purchasing department. For inventory items carries and posts all goods on appropriate documentation and enters data into the computer inventory system as required.
• Completes warehouse requisitions ensures order accuracy and packs for delivery to appropriate user.
• Delivers inventory or special ordered goods to the end user and maintains delivery schedule for inventory or non-stock goods.
• Responsible for the timely delivery of various courier runs.
• Provides Par Level service to various departments on a daily basis which will change over time.
• Completes all required documentation in the performance of responsibilities clearly and accurately.
• Ships freight daily via FedEx UPS and common carrier. Properly ships returned goods and returns goods into inventory.

Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.

Experience: Warehouse and material handling experience preferred.

Licensure Certification and/or Registration: Valid Virginia drivers license required with positive driving record.

Other Minimum Qualifications: Excellent communication skills. Computer skills. Ability to perform in a continually changing environment. Must have the ability to perform responsibilities and handle the heavy equipment of standard warehouse operations. Must successfully complete orientation and competency validation for position.

Compensation Range:

$15.00 - $21.07

Employee pay is based on a variety of factors including qualifications credentials education and prior work experience. The compensation range does not include benefits or pension plan.
