Job Summary
Ergon Midstream is looking for a Logistics Coordinator to add to our team in Marietta OH.
The Logistics Coordinator manages the daily movement of crude oil from production sites to refineries and storage terminals via truck. This fast-paced role focuses on maximizing asset utilization minimizing transport costs and maintaining strict safety compliance.
- Scheduling: Build and optimize daily driver routes and dispatch schedules for fleet operations.
- Producer tank volume monitoring: Track and manage tank levels to ensure proper fleet dispersal to maintain manageable tank levels.
- Inventory Reconciliation: Monitor daily field ticket data inventory transfers and physical terminal volumes.
- Vendor Management: Liaison with third-party common carriers terminal operators and field personnel.
- Incident Support: Assist in emergency responses regarding transport delays spills or equipment maintenance.
- Regulatory Compliance: Maintain paperwork aligned with Department of Transportation (D.O.T.) and OSHA hazmat regulations
- Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of delivery compliance driver hour-of-service rules and terminal ticketing.
- Technical Skills: High proficiency in dispatch software fleet tracking systems and Microsoft Excel.
- Availability: Flexibility to work alternating night shifts weekends and holidays to support 24/7 operations.
Skills
- Proven experience as logistics coordinator
- Experience in customer service will be appreciated
- Knowledge of Federal State and local regulations
- Ability to work with little supervision and track multiple processes
- Computer-savvy with a working knowledge of logistics software
- Outstanding organizational and coordination abilities
- Excellent communication interpersonal and phone skills
- Ability to sit for long periods of time
- Professional appearance and attitude
