Logistics Coordinator II

Our organization is currently seeking a new team member to join our Materials department.

The ideal candidate should possess a professional demeanor and provide clerical support for

inbound and outbound logistical operations. Coordinates warehousing and transportation

activities in order to optimize inventory levels and minimize costs. Supports a variety of

logistical functions including sourcing receiving purchasing and dispatching.

• Comparing shipment contents to records to ensure accuracy

• Keeping track of the status of outgoing shipments and inputting data into the company system

• Working with warehouse staff and drivers to ensure timely delivery

• Working with logistics technicians customer service and other teams

• Offering additional support for shipping and receiving departments as needed.

• Track availability and location of products and supplies.

• Ensure orders are fulfilled and assist with coordinating with multiple departments and personnel.

• Maintain a clean organized and safe warehouse environment by ensuring proper storage labeling and inventory placement.

• Coordinate warehouse layout and storage strategies to optimize space utilization material flow and operational efficiency.

• Monitor inventory locations and ensure accurate stock organization to support timely order fulfillment and inventory accuracy.

• Implement and maintain warehouse housekeeping standards in compliance with company safety policies and procedures.

• Coordinate with warehouse personnel to organize incoming and outgoing shipments ensuring materials are stored and staged appropriately.

• Conduct regular inspections of warehouse areas to identify and correct organization storage or safety issues.

• Support continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing warehouse efficiency accessibility and inventory control.

• Perform data entry

• Advanced knowledge and competency in Microsoft Word and Excel.

• Previous logistics or supply chain experience is a must

Education and Experience:

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

• Experience using ERP platforms such as (Syteline) or similar systems in a manufacturing distribution or logistics environment.

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience utilizing ERP systems to manage inventory transactions production support shipping receiving and warehouse activities within a manufacturing environment. Demonstrated ability to maintain accurate data and support efficient supply chain operations through ERP system utilization.
