Logistics Associate

What Youll Do

• Accurately pick pack and ship orders by following standard operating procedure
• Receive incoming shipments from vendors rejects damaged items records shortages and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages
• Operate forklift and pallet jack to move materials to and from loading docks delivery trucks storageareasand manufacturing areas
• Perform physical inventory of raw materials work in progress and finished goods through cycle counts ona timelybasis
• Contact freight carriers to schedule pick-up of goods and prepare BOL for shipments
• Scan all shipped orders into the database and update informationin a timely manner
• Communicate any shipping delays or product shortages
• Maintain the work area in a clean and orderly condition and follows all company safety regulations
• Follow established company SOP and ISO Guidelines
• Other duties as assigned

What Youll Bring

• At least 1-2 years of shipping and receiving experience in a manufacturing environment
• Experience working with any Warehouse management software or ERP system
• Experience with DOT and IATA regulations for hazardous shipments
• Prior experience with freight forwarders for organizing and scheduling international shipment
• Experience with Microsoft Office Outlook Excel and Word
• Strong attention to detail
• Excellent time management skills
• Effective communication skills
