Summary:
Under Warehouse Leads direction pick and stage materials for production record inventory movement transactions using bar code scannersmaintainingcomputerized inventory control and confirm inventory levels and accuracy through cycle counts
Essential Functions:
- Accurately pull parts from pick tickets andstagesmaterials for production.
- Accurately maintain computerized inventory control records over product movement from one location to another.
- Safelyoperatevarious pieces of warehouse equipment (Cherry Pickers Forkliftsetc).
- Assistin physicalinventoriesand cycle counting as directed.
- Communicate issuesregardingpart discrepancies to the Warehouse Lead.
- Activelyparticipateas a member of the team to move the team toward completion of goals.
- Perform cleaning and maintenance duties as may be directed bythe WarehouseLead.
- Operates/Drives box truck for parts transport and pickup (WillrequireMVR-Motor Vehicle Record check DOT Physical and Defensive Driver Class)
- Performsadditionalduties as assigned.
Qualifications/Skills:
Require:
- GED or High School Diploma.
- Proficient understanding of basic math functions (add subtract multiply divide)
- At least 6 months experienceoperatinga forklift or reach truck.
- Possess strong interpersonal and customer relation skills
- Working knowledge of MRP or ERP systems and Microsoft Office programs ExcelWordand Outlook
- Ability to beflexibleto adapt to changing priorities and meet deadlines
- Mustpass background check and drug test
Prefer:
- At least one year of warehouse experiencepreferred.
Safety/Physical requirements:
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Requires bending stooping and standing.
- Must be able to stand from six (6) to eight (8) hours per day. (Overtime may extendtimeperiod.)
- Good visual and spatial perception.
- Follow established safety policies including but not limited to mobile equipment PPE emergency response HAZCOM first-aid response etc.
- Forklift and Crane Operation (after training)
