Logistics and Shipping Associate Distribution Support (1st Shift)

Seeking a Logistics and Shipping Associate to support distribution activities on the 1st shift. This role suits individuals experienced in shipping receiving and warehouse logistics within a global manufacturing environment.

As a Logistics and Shipping Associate you will assist with shipment and receipt of materials supplies and finished products. Your responsibilities include verifying shipments packing items according to specifications and maintaining accurate records to support efficient distribution.

• LOCATION: Orlando FL 32824
• POSITION: Contract
• PAY RATE: 19.50 hour
• HOURS: 5:00am to 1:30pm

Responsibilities

• Assist with shipment and receipt of materials supplies equipment and finished products under general supervision.
• Receive goods verify items against shipment records and inspect their condition.
• Gather verify and pack items for shipment according to specifications and transportation methods.
• Record received and shipped items following established procedures.
• Route materials supplies and equipment to inspection or stock areas.
• Complete written and computerized documentation accurately.
• Operate powered equipment such as forklifts as required.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in picking packing shipping and receiving.
• Ability to operate forklifts; standup forklift experience preferred.
• Proficiency with RF scanners.
• Must wear steel toe boots.
• Successful completion of drug test and background check.
• Basic reading writing and numerical skills.
• Effective verbal communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Valid drivers license with good driving record may be required.
