Job Summary
Nakupuna Companies is seeking a Logistician to support the Pacific Enterprise ServicesHawaii (PES-HI) Decommissioning and DLA Disposition Services effort. The Logistician plans coordinates and executes logistics asset accountability inventory management decommissioning support documentation and DLA Disposition Services turn-in activities while ensuring compliance with DoD DISA safety and quality requirements.

- Project Management tasks include logistics planning scheduling support documentation coordination risk identification and status reporting.
- Site Visits & Assessments covering inventory validation site assessments accountability and coordination.
- Sanitization Decommissioning & Removal for logistics support for equipment removal packaging staging and sanitization documentation.
- DLA Disposition Services (DRMO) Processing includes DD Form 1348-1A preparation inventory records sanitization certificates and DLA coordination.
- Quality Control encompassing documentation accuracy compliance quality assurance support SOP development and project closeout.
Skills/Qualifications: Experience supporting DoD logistics property accountability DLA Disposition Services (DRMO) inventory management DD Form 1348-1A processing Microsoft Excel and asset tracking systems.
Education/Experience: Bachelors degree in Logistics Supply Chain Business or related field and 5 years of relevant experience preferred. Additional directly related experience may substitute for education.
Certification: Security and OSHA 10 preferred.
Clearance Requirements: Active Secret security clearance. Must be a U.S. citizen.
Work Location: DISA Pacific Pearl Harbor HI with travel throughout Oahu to Government facilities DLA Disposition Services locations and contractor staging areas.
Physical Requirements: The ideal candidate must at a minimum be able to meet the following physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation:
- Ability to perform repetitive motions with the hands wrists and fingers.
- Ability to engage in and follow audible communications in emergency situations.
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods at a desk and working on a computer.
- Ability to lift/carry up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to stand for long periods including standing bending and climbing ladders.
- Ability to sit stand reach and kneel for long periods.
The Nakupuna Companies use a market-based compensation strategy to ensure that our employees are compensated within applicable market ranges commensurate with multiple factors including but not limited to the individuals particular combination of education knowledge skills competencies and experience as well as contract-specific affordability organizational requirements and position location. The projected compensation range for this position is $80000 to $90000 annually. The range displayed represents the typical range for this position and is just one component of Nakupuna Companies total compensation package for employees.
