Locum Urology MDDO

Summary: Join a dedicated team at a community hospital located in the beautiful city of Pendleton Oregon. This position offers a unique opportunity for a Urologist to work in both hospital and clinic settings for up to 12 months starting in December. You will provide care to a diverse patient population while enjoying the support of a skilled medical team and a welcoming community.

• Attend to clinic patients and manage hospital admissions and emergencies.
• Perform a variety of surgical procedures including but not limited to cystoscopy hydrocelectomy and prostate biopsy.
• Maintain an active patient schedule seeing a minimum of 17 patients daily in the clinic.
• Participate in 24-hour on-call duty providing surgical and emergency care as needed.
• Collaborate with clinic medical assistants and perioperative nurses for optimal patient care.

• Board Certification in Urology (preferred) or Board Eligibility if a recent graduate.
• Completion of an accredited residency program in Urology.
• A clean malpractice history is highly preferred.
• Availability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet patient load expectations.

• Active Oregon State License (preferred but candidates in the process of obtaining will be considered).
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).
• Current DEA registration (required).
