Locum Urgent Care NP

Join a dynamic urgent care team in Richmond Virginia where youll provide essential healthcare services in a variety of clinic settings. Our clinics are open 7 days a week welcoming patients from birth to end of life. • Provide comprehensive outpatient care treating patients of all ages.
• Perform diagnostic and point-of-care testing including rapid strep flu COVID-19 and urinalysis.
• Conduct a variety of procedures such as laceration repairs incision and drainage foreign body removals and minor burn management.
• Manage acute injuries by stabilizing orthopedic conditions and performing splinting and casting.
• Monitor patients and offer airway support including nebulizer treatments.
• Interpret x-rays and electrocardiograms (EKG).
• Ensure accurate and timely documentation using the Epic EMR system.

• Board Certified as a Nurse Practitioner.
• Active Virginia state license.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Valid DEA registration.
• At least 1 year of experience in an ED/ER primary care or urgent care setting.
• Clean background with no malpractice or license issues.
