Locum-to-Perm Surgery Cardiothoracic MDDO

Join a dynamic healthcare facility in Lima Ohio known for its commitment to providing exceptional patient care. This hospital-based practice is seeking a skilled Cardiothoracic Surgeon for locum to permanent coverage. You will be part of a team that values collaboration and impact focusing primarily on adult patients in a supportive environment with a team of experienced ancillary staff.

• Provide cardiothoracic surgical coverage during assigned shifts.
• Manage gaps in call coverage with reliability and professionalism.
• Participate in rounding and deliver high-quality care to adult patients.
• Perform required procedures including but not limited to:
• Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery (CABG)
• Redo Coronary Revascularization
• Heart Valve Repair/Replacement Surgery
• Pericardial Window
• Document patient care using EPIC EMR.
• Be available for 10-14 days of call coverage per month.

• Board Certified in Surgery - Cardiothoracic REQUIRED
• Active Ohio Medical License REQUIRED
• Fellowship Training in Cardiothoracic Surgery REQUIRED
• BLS and ACLS Certification REQUIRED
• Willingness to cover listed dates REQUIRED
• Ability to perform all required procedures REQUIRED
• Experience with EPIC EMR PREFERRED
• Self-Query NPDB within 30 days prior to presentation REQUIRED

• Board Certification in Cardiothoracic Surgery REQUIRED
• Valid Ohio Medical License REQUIRED
• BLS and ACLS Certification REQUIRED
