Locum Surgery Neurosurgery MDDO

Join a dedicated team at a well-established hospital in the scenic town of Petoskey Michigan. This facility is seeking a skilled Neurosurgeon to fulfill a need for 24-hour call coverage rounding and admits. The hospital is equipped with comprehensive imaging lab procedure rooms and OR facilities featuring a supportive staff that includes one Neurosurgeon one Ortho-spinal surgeon and Neurosurgery APPs.

• Provide 24-hour call coverage including emergent surgeries and inpatient rounding.
• Perform both spinal and cranial surgeries as required.
• Manage daily patient care for an estimated 5-10 inpatients.
• Utilize Cerner for electronic medical records.
• Collaborate with fellow physicians and support staff.

• Board Certified in Neurosurgery (no Board Eligible candidates).
• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience post-fellowship.
• Proficient in both spinal and cranial surgical procedures.
• Clean background verification with no significant actions.
• Capability to work on a flexible schedule.

• Active Michigan medical license at the time of application.
• Current ACLS certification.
