Locum Pediatrics Emergency Medicine MDDO

We are seeking an experienced Pediatric Emergency Medicine Physician to join a dynamic team at a leading facility in Dayton Ohio. This facility focuses on providing specialized care and support to children and is equipped with a Level I trauma designation. The Emergency Department sees an annual volume of over 101000 patients with a variety of consultants available including critical care and pediatric specialists. • Provide high-quality emergency care to pediatric patients.
• Supervise and mentor other healthcare providers including APPs and residents.
• Write admission orders and coordinate patient care with accepting physicians.
• Assist in emergency procedures as required and participate in patient transfers or referrals.
• Participate in departmental meetings and maintain communication with staff and consultants.
• Utilize the EPIC documentation system for efficient patient record management.
• Respond to emergency codes and supervising paramedics/ambulance communications.

• Board Certified in Pediatric Emergency Medicine.
• Current PALS ATLS and BLS certifications.
• Active Medical License in Ohio (candidates willing to obtain licensure will be considered).
• Experience in emergency medicine preferably in a pediatric setting.
• Local candidates are preferred.

• Board certification in Pediatric Emergency Medicine is required.
• Current certifications in PALS ATLS and BLS are mandatory.
• An active Ohio medical license is required with provisions for candidates willing to attain it.
