Locum NP (Nurse Practitioner), PA (Physician's Assistant) Gastroenterology

In this role you will provide high-quality patient care within a fast-paced environment collaborating closely with physicians and other healthcare providers to deliver comprehensive gastroenterological services. • Conduct thorough patient assessments and examinations
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients
• Assist in diagnostic procedures and interpret results
• Provide patient education and support regarding gastrointestinal health
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure coordinated care
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation in patient records
• Participate in case reviews and quality improvement initiatives
• Stay updated on advancements in gastroenterology practices and protocols

• Associate degree in Nursing or related field
• Current NP or PA certification and state licensure
• Experience in a clinical setting particularly in gastroenterology
• Strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Commitment to providing compassionate patient care

Schedule: 7 on/7 off 8 or 12-hour shifts

Duties: Rounding and ED consults

Support Staff: Gastroenterologist on-call

Must be board-certified
