Locum NP (Nurse Practitioner), PA (Physician's Assistant) Critical Care

This on-site contract position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to our dynamic healthcare environment and make a significant impact on patient care in a critical setting.

As a Locum NP/PA you will be pivotal in delivering high-quality healthcare services to critically ill patients. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal patient outcomes and will be instrumental in implementing treatment plans and providing comprehensive care.

• Provide comprehensive medical care to critically ill patients
• Conduct thorough assessments and develop treatment plans
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare professionals
• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatments as necessary
• Educate patients and families on critical care protocols
• Document all patient interactions and maintain accurate medical records
• Participate in patient rounds and case discussions
• Ensure adherence to established clinical protocols and guidelines

• Associates degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant Studies
• Current NP or PA licensure in the state of practice
• Experience in critical care settings preferred
• Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment
• Strong commitment to patient-centered care
• Basic certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Setting: Closed ICU

No procedures required

Support Staff: Hospitalists and subspecialty support

EMR: Meditech

Must be board-certified

ACLS required

Paid travel & expenses
