Locum MD (Medical Doctor) ObGyn

This contract position provides a unique opportunity to deliver high-quality patient care in a supportive medical practice environment.

As a Locum MD you will be responsible for providing exceptional obstetrical and gynecological care ensuring the health and well-being of our patients. You will work closely with our skilled team to manage patient consultations conduct examinations and develop treatment plans that align with best practices in womens health.

• Conduct thorough patient examinations and assessments
• Provide prenatal postnatal and reproductive health care
• Perform gynecological procedures and surgeries as required
• Collaborate with nursing and administrative staff to optimize patient care
• Educate patients on health maintenance and disease prevention
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Participate in on-call duties and emergency procedures as needed
• Stay updated on advancements in the Ob/Gyn field

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school
• Board Certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Active medical license in the relevant state
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in the Ob/Gyn field
• Strong clinical skills and the ability to work in a team
• Excellent communication and patient interpersonal skills
• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care
• Experience with electronic health record (EHR) systems is a plus

Schedule: 12-hour or 24-hour shifts

Average Daily Volume: 15-20 triage patients

Average Annual Deliveries: 4100 total

Duties: Managing TOLACs operative vaginal deliveries and performing gynecologic surgeries

Support Staff: CNMs

Must be board-certified
