Job Summary
Job Opportunity: Locum Physician - Hematology Oncology in Pendleton OR
Summary: Join a dynamic healthcare team at a well-established hospital in Pendleton Oregon where you will provide valuable support as a Hematology/Oncology Board Certified Physician. This locum position offers the opportunity to work 3 days per week for a duration of 9-12 months making a meaningful impact on patient care in an outpatient setting.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide direct hospital-based outpatient care and oversight of the chemotherapy program.
- Perform bone marrow biopsies and other required procedures.
- Manage a patient load of 15-18 patients per day.
- Conduct 1-3 consultations per week.
- Collaborate with a trained team of ARNPs and nurses.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in Medical Oncology or Truly Board Eligible (0-5 years post-residency completion) - Required
- Board Certified in Hematology - Highly Preferred
- Active Oregon License - Highly Preferred (will accept IMLC and non-licensed candidates must obtain OR license during credentialing)
- Completed residency and fellowship training in relevant specialties - Required
- BLS and DEA certifications - Required during credentialing
- Clean background and malpractice history - Highly Preferred
License and Certification Requirements:
- Oregon State Medical License (or IMLC) must be obtained during credentialing.
- BLS Certification.
- DEA Certification during credentialing.
