Locksmith

EDUCATION: High school technical school apprenticeship trade school graduate or equivalent required.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to write correspondence.
• Completion of a recognized apprenticeship or vocational program for a locksmith .
• Four years Grade 1 Carpenter or equivalent carpenter experience installing doors frames and associated hardware.

SECURITY: Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret US Government security clearance. Note: US citizenship is required to obtain a Top Secret security clearance.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Incumbents may work in conditions that require operatingindustrial machinery/power tools and motor vehicles. Additionally incumbents mayparticipate in work that requires walking bending squatting and carrying materialsthroughout the facility. Workplace conditions necessitate following strict safety guidelines and the use of Personal Protective Equipment. Work tasks requiring the incumbent to liftweight more than 50 pounds requires two or more persons.
