ISS TSS Services & Keys

Departments Website:

Manage daily operations of the office and provide accurate and timely troubleshooting of electronic and mechanical lock hardware and systems. Perform installations of mechanical and electronic control systems which may include door access control mechanical locks keypads electronic locks Wi-Fi locks and associated hardware. Responds to situations where lock hardware or systems have failed and action must be taken to isolate or repair problem equipment or software or make configuration changes to return locking systems to full functionality. Process key requests and issue keys and ensure that the Simple K key management software is kept up to date. Planning designing and implementing new key and locking systems for remodeled or new construction projects. Assigns work to other locksmiths to ensure that tasks are completed promptly.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associates Degree in Computer Science or related field of study plus 3 years locksmith experience -OR- High School Diploma/GED plus 5 years locksmith experience
• Must of a valid Drivers License
• Must be able to participate in a group 24 hours a day 7 days a week 365 days a year on-call rotation where each member of the group takes call for 1 week at a time
• Workload pressure will regularly subject incumbent to moderate to high job-related stress
• Drive company vehicles to locations off-site and around the state to support repair initiatives. All incumbents must have a valid drivers license and have a clean driving history.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field
• Customer Service experience
• Locksmith certification
