Job Summary
Primary Purpose Of Position
The position shall perform installation repair and maintenance of mechanical lock systems on campus. Duties will include re-keying key cutting and pinning cylinders for our current mechanical lock system install repair and maintain electronic lock system components for access control devices.
Minimum Qualifications
Associates degree in electronics; or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions. Special Note: This is a generalized representation of positions in this class and is not intended to reflect essential functions per ADA . Examples of competencies are typical of the majority of positions but may not be applicable to all positions.
Preferred Qualifications
Locksmith CRL or equivalent certification from ALOA or other locksmith certification agency. 3 years journey- level locksmith. Must have or be able to obtain an Active North Carolina Locksmith License. Knowledge of low voltage electrical. Basic computer skills.
