We are hiring experienced CDL-A drivers for a local intermodal position based in Indianapolis IN. Enjoy daily home time consistent freight excellent pay and industry-leading benefits while driving for North Americas largest intermodal provider.

Drivers will primarily operate within a 200-mile radius of Indianapolis including daily runs to and from Chicago. This position offers a combination of dedicated lane work and local deliveries within approximately 100 miles of Indianapolis.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate a Day Cab tractor hauling 53 box trailers
• Daily runs between Indianapolis and Chicago
• Additional local work within a 100-mile radius of Indianapolis
• Report to the Indianapolis terminal daily for dispatch and truck assignment
• Slip-seat operation
• Start and end each shift at the Indianapolis terminal
• Approximately 75% drop-and-hook freight
• Majority no-touch freight
• Average 17 loads per week
• Average 6.75 stops per load
• Approximately 2000 miles per week

Average Annual Earnings: $79000$80000

Additional Pay Opportunities:

• $45 for customer live load/unload
• $25 for customer drop-and-hook (pickup or delivery)
• $15 for out-of-route empty moves or crosstown drops
• $15/hour rail delay pay after first hour
• $20/hour detention pay after 1.5 hours
• $20/hour training pay as needed

$5000 Sign-On Bonus Available

Bonus eligibility requirements apply:

• First payment issued after first dispatched load
• Must not have received a sign-on bonus within the previous 12 months from our company
• Must remain in active driving status and in the same position to receive full bonus

Requirements:

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 3 months of CDL-A driving experience
• Hazmat endorsement required within 60 days of hire
• Hazmat endorsement cost reimbursed upon completion
• Drivers must leave tractors at the yard during time off
• Smoking is prohibited inside company equipment
• Passengers are not permitted
