Compliance Notes

Key Responsibilities
- Evaluate patients for speech language cognitive-communication and swallowing disorders
- Develop and implement individualised treatment plans targeting communication and dysphagia goals
- Conduct modified barium swallow studies or bedside swallowing evaluations as indicated
- Document evaluations progress notes and discharge summaries accurately in the EMR
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team including physicians dietitians OTs and nursing staff
- Provide family and caregiver education on communication strategies and diet modifications
Requirements
Must-Have
- Active state SLP licence - North Carolina current and in good standing
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) from ASHA - current
- CPR/BLS certification - current
- Minimum 1 year SLP experience in a post-acute or rehabilitation setting
