Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for an 18-week local contract assignment in Santa Fe New Mexico. The LPN will provide direct patient care in a skilled nursing environment supporting residents with ongoing clinical and night shift care needs.

This role requires strong clinical judgment reliability and the ability to work consistent overnight shifts in a structured care setting.

Key Responsibilities

Provide direct nursing care under RN supervision
Administer medications and prescribed treatments
Monitor and document patient conditions and vital signs
Assist with care planning and daily resident needs
Support patients with activities of daily living
Maintain accurate clinical documentation
Collaborate with healthcare and nursing teams
Follow infection prevention and safety protocols
Ensure patient safety comfort and dignity

Requirements

Active LPN/LVN license required
Minimum 1 year of recent LPN experience preferred
Current BLS certification required
Experience in skilled nursing preferred
Ability to work overnight shifts (6:00 PM 6:30 AM)
Strong communication and documentation skills
Must comply with facility health and safety requirements
Valid government-issued photo identification required
COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption may be required
