Job Summary
*** Local Temp to Perm On-Site Phlebotomy Technician 40hrs. Eves *** Shift: 40hrs. Eves Monday through Friday 1:00pm to 9: Name: Salem Hospital. Description: Maintain established department policies and procedures objectives safety environmental and infection control standards. Process a variety of specimens in accordance to established protocols. Data entry into both the hospital and laboratory information systems. Monitor requests for laboratory testing that have not been processed through the laboratory information system. Perform quality assurance checks on outpatient requisitions to ensure the correctness of data entry. Rotation Requirements: Rotate to weekends and holidays as (Charting System): Population: Adult and adolescent medical Requirement: High School Diploma or of Experience: 1 to 2 years of Phlebotomy Credentials: Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT).
