Local OR Nurse 40 Hours/week $57/hour
Job Overview
We are seeking an Operating Room RN also known as an OR RN or perioperative nurse provides comprehensive nursing care to patients before during and after Room Nurse work within the operating room setting collaborating with surgeons and other surgical team members to ensure patient safety and RNs prepare patients for surgery which includes reviewing medical history conducting assessments educating patients and families about the procedure and administering pre-operative medications

Location: Mesquite TX 75149
Contract Duration: 13-week contract
Work Schedule: 40 hours/week
Shift: Days/Mid: 6:30PM to 3:00PM OR 8:00AM to 5:00 PM
Job Qualifications
Current and valid state RN License/ Nursys Report
Current BLS (AHA)
Current ACLS (AHA)
Experience: *Ortho (Total knees hips shoulders & ankles) Podiatry Gyn & General/laparoscopic procedures
Minimum 2 years of experience preferred
On-Call requirement: Yes - per unit needs.
Take rotating call 1-2 days per week and 1 weekend per month.
