Job Summary

Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) Contract Opportunity

Location: Waterville ME 04901

Duration: 10 Weeks Contract

Shift: Day Shift (AP)

Hours: 5:45 AM 6:15 PM / 5:45 PM 6:15 AM 36 Hours/Week Guaranteed

We are seeking a compassionate and dependable Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for a contract assignment. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care assist with daily nursing responsibilities and collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure patient safety and comfort.

Responsibilities:
Provide direct nursing care under the supervision of an RN or physician
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
Monitor and document patient conditions vital signs and responses to treatment
Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs) including hygiene mobility and comfort care
Maintain accurate and timely patient documentation in accordance with facility guidelines
Communicate effectively with physicians nurses patients and family members regarding patient care plans and updates
Observe and report any changes in patient condition promptly
Ensure compliance with infection control and safety procedures
Maintain a clean safe and organized patient care environment
Support the healthcare team with additional clinical duties as assigned

Requirements:
Active LPN License required
Strong clinical assessment and patient care skills required
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities required
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced healthcare environment required
Compassionate dependable and patient-focused attitude required

Preferred:
Current BLS/CPR Certification preferred
Previous experience in long-term care rehabilitation or skilled nursing preferred
