Position Overview

The Senior Associate Loan Servicing will be responsible for servicing and overseeing a portfolio of commercial real estate debt investments. This individual will work closely with the Debt Asset Management team to ensure loan records are accurately maintained and servicing functions are completed in a timely and efficient manner. The role offers the opportunity to contribute to process improvements and operational enhancements while supporting a growing platform.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee servicing activities and review team deliverables for accuracy and completeness.

  • Assist with training and mentoring junior team members.

  • Review and interpret loan documents to identify critical servicing requirements including payment calculations escrow administration fees payoff requirements and covenant compliance.

  • Support onboarding of new loans and loan portfolios ensuring accurate system setup and data integrity.

  • Monitor tax and insurance reserves and perform escrow analyses.

  • Coordinate lien releases UCC continuations and terminations.

  • Review construction and bridge loan draw requests for compliance with loan documents budgets title requirements inspection reports and supporting documentation.

  • Generate and review borrower billing statements and payoff quotes.

  • Prepare and distribute recurring portfolio and servicing reports.

  • Assist with investor remittance reporting and related reconciliations.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with borrowers investors clients and service providers.

  • Coordinate with treasury and accounting teams regarding cash management activities payment processing and escrow reconciliations.

  • Identify opportunities to improve servicing processes controls and data quality.

  • Support special projects reporting requests and portfolio analyses as needed.

Qualifications
Experience
  • 5 years of relevant commercial real estate loan servicing experience.

  • Experience servicing commercial real estate loans required.

  • Bridge loan and/or construction loan servicing experience preferred.

  • Experience with commercial loan servicing platforms preferred.

Education
  • Bachelors degree in Finance Business Administration Accounting Real Estate or a related field.

  • Equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
