Loan Boarding & Funding Specialist

A Sacramento-based financial institution is seeking a Loan Boarding & Funding Specialist to support loan setup documentation review and funding accuracy. This role ensures loans are boarded correctly funding conditions are met and all data is entered with precision. Pay Range : $25- $32/hour (DOE)

Key Responsibilities

• Board loans into the core system and verify accuracy of terms and data
• Review executed loan documents for completeness and compliance
• Process loan funding advances payoffs and wire transactions
• Validate rates terms maturity dates and payment schedules
• Support escrow insurance reconciliation and routine maintenance tasks

Skills and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; college degree preferred
• Strong attention to detail accuracy and reliability with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment
• Clear professional communication skills and a positive team-oriented work style
• Commitment to compliance internal controls and high-quality operational standards
• 2 years of experience in commercial loan operations loan documentation or financial services
• Proficiency in loan systems core banking platforms and Microsoft Office
• Solid understanding of loan documentation and lending products including consumer commercial and mortgage loans
