WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

Reporting to the Security Manager:

  • Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees guests and other people to maintain security and safety of the premises.
  • Keep records / reports of daily activities and authorized people entering and exiting the area.
  • Operate detecting devices to screen individuals and prevent passage of prohibited articles into restricted areas.
  • Document irregularities such as equipment or property damage theft presence of unauthorized persons or unusual occurrences.
  • Patrol premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors windows and gates to preserve safety order and to protect the venue property.
  • Authenticate and ensure that only authorized vehicles are in compound and secure areas.
  • Warn people of rule infractions or violations and uphold Live Nation back of house security protocol with all crew and guests.

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

  • High school diploma or equivalentexperiencerequired
  • Security/Law Enforcement experiencepreferred
  • Good working knowledge of security operations safety practices in abusinessenvironmentandenforcement procedures.
  • Ability to perform duties in a professional manner and appearance; ability to make independent and good judgment decisions within proper policy and procedures.
  • Excellent verbal written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Acute sense ofjudgmenttactanddiplomacy
  • A strong senseof teamwork and ability to execute programs
  • Position requires constant walking climbingstairsliftingandcarrying 50lbs and occasional sitting
  • Ability to maintain full attention on post for 8-10 hours without the use of electronic devices or other distractions

Physical Demands/Working Environment:

  • Working environment is fast paced often loud and stressful
  • Position requires extended periods of prolonged standing and working on your feet
  • Must be able to lift or move up to 45 lbs. using proper lifting techniques
  • Position works at an outdoor venue during inclement weather as needed
