• Provide personal care including bathing grooming dressing and other activities of daily living.
• Assist with mobility transfers and safe movement around the home.
• Provide medication reminders as directed.
• Monitor vital signs and promptly report any changes concerns or unusual observations to the nurse.
• Assist with light housekeeping laundry and maintaining a clean and safe environment.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when necessary.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in meaningful and appropriate activities.
• Support clients with their daily routines while promoting dignity independence and comfort.
• Accurately document care provided and maintain required client records.
• Follow care plans and instructions provided by nurses and other healthcare professionals.

• Active New Jersey CHHA certification required.
• Fluent in Spanish and English required.
• Previous experience in home care senior care or private-duty caregiving preferred.
• Experience with memory care and dementia care is a plus.
• Ability to follow care plans and instructions from nurses and healthcare professionals.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Compassionate patient and empathetic approach to caregiving.
• Reliable responsible and professional.
• Strong attention to detail particularly when documenting client care.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
• Comfortable providing care to two clients (husband and wife) in a live-in setting.
