The Job:

We are seeking a highly motivated organized and detail-oriented individual to join our Legal Team as a Litigation Paralegal. This is a hybrid role based in Valley City OH or Towson MD. Youll get to:

• Assist attorneys and other legal professionals in the management of the Companys global litigation docket disputes and other matters.
• Conduct legal research and gather relevant information to support litigation strategies.
• Assist in the timely and adequate preparation review organization and filing of legal documents including pleadings discovery requests and responses subpoenas motions and trial documents.
• Maintain and organize legal files records and databases ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
• Support the drafting and editing of correspondence memos and reports.
• Coordinate and manage the scheduling of meetings depositions hearings appointments and other legal proceedings.
• Communicate with internal departments and external parties to gather information and facilitate legal processes.
• Monitor and track regulatory changes and updates relevant to the companys operations.
• Provide general administrative support to the Global Litigation Group.
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned by the leadership of the Legal Team.

The Person:

• Bachelors degree or Paralegal certificate from an accredited program or in process of obtaining same
• Minimum 5-7 years of experience as a litigation paralegal in a law firm or in a corporate legal department
• Deep knowledge of legal terminology court procedures and litigation processes
• Extensive experience with legal research case management and e-discovery tools and software
• A desire to learn new things
• Strong organizational and time-management skills detailed oriented and ability to handle multiple projects and tasks simultaneously and in a timely manner
• The ability to work effectively in a team setting.
