Client: IsoTalent. Role company: RMJ Firm. Litigation Paralegal - Civil Litigation Department. Location: Fort Worth TX or San Antonio TX. Onsite/in-office. One opening. Start date: ASAP. Hiring contact from brief: Paula Alvarez (). Compensation: $55K-$80K base commensurate with experience; top of range reserved for strong insurance defense or complex litigation backgrounds.
RMJ Firm is a busy well-established commercial litigation defense firm representing major insurance carriers and household-name corporations in complex high-exposure multi-party litigation. This is a substantive litigation paralegal role not an administrative seat. The paralegal will own real case work including pleadings and discovery organization chronologies and summaries medical record review exhibit preparation state and federal e-filing and docket/calendar management. The role supports approximately two primary attorneys while collaborating across offices. The environment is fast-paced in-office and best suited for a self-starter who can manage deadlines independently with minimal supervision.
Requirements
Required skills and experience:
- 5 years of litigation experience; commercial or defense litigation strongly preferred.
- Strong knowledge of litigation procedures with Texas experience strongly preferred.
- Experience supporting complex multi-party litigation; not high-volume plaintiff PI only.
- Proficiency with document management systems and e-filing in state and federal courts.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills including Word and Excel/spreadsheets.
- Ability to organize and analyze legal documents discovery pleadings facts evidence and records.
- Experience maintaining calendars and dockets for multiple attorneys.
- Experience reviewing and summarizing records including medical records.
- Strong attention to detail organization accountability and independent follow-through.
- Paralegal certificate is a plus but not required.
