Location:Reno Nevada Full-time On-site in a collaborative office environment where youll work closely with experienced trial attorneys and gain valuable courtroom exposure.

Note:Candidates must be licensed to practice law in Nevada and have 1 years of litigation experience. Experience in defense litigation medical malpractice or healthcare law is highly preferred but not required.

Job Description

• Represent clients throughout all phases of litigation from case inception through trial.
• Draft pleadings motions discovery requests and responses legal memoranda and other litigation documents.
• Conduct legal research and analyze complex legal issues.
• Attend court hearings depositions mediations client meetings and trials.
• Collaborate with partners and senior attorneys to develop litigation strategy.
• Manage case files while maintaining excellent client communication.
• Contribute to business development and help build strong client relationships.

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Active membership in the Nevada State Bar.
• 1 years of litigation experience.
• Strong understanding of Nevada State and Federal court rules and procedures.
• Excellent legal research writing negotiation and advocacy skills.
• Strong communication analytical and organizational abilities.
• Experience in medical malpractice healthcare law or insurance defense is preferred.
