Pay: $110000.00 - $135000.00 per year

Location: Newport Beach CA This is a primarily in-office role based in one of Southern Californias premier professional markets. After 90 days hybrid scheduling is available for attorneys who have settled into the team and caseload.

Note: Candidates must hold an active California Bar license and have a minimum of 3 years of civil litigation experience. Personal injury litigation experience is required or strongly preferred. Applicants who do not meet these requirements will not be considered.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Manage an active civil litigation caseload including personal injury and construction defect matters from intake through resolution
• Propound and respond to written discovery: interrogatories requests for production and requests for admission
• Take and defend depositions of parties witnesses and expert witnesses
• Draft and argue law and motion matters including demurrers motions for summary judgment and other dispositive filings
• Appear in court for hearings case management conferences and other scheduled proceedings
• Communicate directly and professionally with clients to provide updates set expectations and maintain strong relationships
• Manage case timelines deadlines and litigation strategy with attention to detail and efficiency
• Collaborate with supervising attorneys and support staff to advance cases toward favorable resolution

QUALIFICATIONS

• Active California Bar license (required)
• 3 years of civil litigation experience (required)
• Personal injury litigation experience (required or strongly preferred)
• Construction defect litigation experience (preferred)
• Demonstrated experience with depositions court appearances written discovery and law and motion
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple active matters independently while meeting deadlines
• Excellent client communication and relationship management skills
