Litigation Associate Attorney

About the Role:

We are seeking a talented Litigation Associate Attorney to join our growing litigation practice in Philadelphia Pennsylvania. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney with at least three years of litigation experience who is looking to take on meaningful responsibility gain significant courtroom exposure and work directly with clients on a variety of complex insurance defense and personal injury matters.

In this role you will manage all phases of litigation including motion practice discovery depositions hearings trial preparation and client counseling. You will work alongside experienced litigators in a collaborative and fast-paced environment that encourages professional growth business development and long-term career advancement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a diverse litigation caseload from inception through resolution.
  • Draft and argue motions pleadings briefs and other litigation-related documents.
  • Conduct legal research and prepare comprehensive legal analyses.
  • Handle all phases of discovery including written discovery document review and production.
  • Conduct and defend depositions.
  • Represent clients at hearings mediations settlement conferences and court proceedings.
  • Assist with trial preparation and support trial strategy and execution.
  • Develop case strategies and provide practical legal advice to clients.
  • Maintain regular communication with clients regarding case developments and litigation strategy.
  • Negotiate settlements and assist in achieving favorable outcomes for clients.
  • Collaborate with attorneys paralegals and staff to ensure efficient case management.
  • Monitor deadlines and ensure compliance with court rules and procedural requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school.
  • Active admission to the Pennsylvania Bar.
  • Minimum of three years of litigation experience.
  • Experience working in a high-volume insurance defense and/or personal injury practice.
  • Experience handling motion practice hearings depositions and trial preparation.
  • Strong legal research writing advocacy and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines effectively.
  • Strong work ethic and commitment to delivering outstanding client service.
  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
